Assured Guaranty Corp. (AGC) Renamed Assured Guaranty Inc. (AG)

After almost 40 years of operation, the Assured Guaranty group of insurance companies continues to focus on developing new products and solutions for our customers, and we believe this is the right time to give a new name to one of our original insurance subsidiaries. Assured Guaranty Corp. (AGC) is now Assured Guaranty Inc. (AG). 
 
AG has been growing and broadening the financial guaranty products it provides and the markets it serves, extending a long tradition of innovation. AG’s business has evolved from its origins as a financial guaranty reinsurer, to a direct financial guaranty insurer, to a guarantor whose new business focused primarily on a variety of structured finance products and legacy financial guaranty portfolio acquisitions, to today, where it is the provider of risk and capital management solutions for insurance, pension and banking institutions in addition to guarantees on structured financings backed by commercial, consumer and life insurance exposure. We believe its new name represents the start of another chapter for both AG and the entire Assured Guaranty group.
