Statement on Agreement with Credit Suisse

Assured Guaranty Municipal and Assured Guaranty Corp. are pleased to have entered into an agreement that resolves our RMBS dispute against Credit Suisse. As a result, on November 25, 2014, we and Credit Suisse filed a joint stipulation to dismiss our lawsuit against Credit Suisse.

Update (posted June 16, 2015):

Although U.S. Bank National Association, the trustee for the RMBS transactions that were the subject of the dispute, filed a motion on November 20, 2014 to intervene as a plaintiff in the lawsuit, the Court denied the trustee’s motion on March 5, 2015, holding that the motion was untimely because the lawsuit was no longer pending.
