Mr. Ursano is the Founder and Managing Partner of Insurance Advisory Partners LLC, an insurance advisory firm that provides merger, acquisition, capital raising, and other advisory services to the insurance industry. Prior to founding Insurance Advisory Partners in 2021, Mr. Ursano was the Group Chief Financial Officer of Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd. Mr. Ursano also served on the board of directors of Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd. from October 2023 through June 2024.

Mr. Ursano began his career as an analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and went on to work at SG Warburg & Company and Merrill Lynch before heading the Global Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America Securities for 10 years and then being named a Vice-Chairman. Mr. Ursano subsequently became Head of Corporate Development for Willis Group and Founder and CEO of Willis Capital Markets & Advisory, and then President of TigerRisk Partners and Founder and CEO of TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory.

Mr. Ursano is the Founder and Chairman of the Industry Advisory Board of the Institute for Risk Management and Insurance Innovation at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Mr. Ursano also serves on the board of directors of the Morehead-Cain Scholarship Fund at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
